For those in recovery, we know how close we’ve come to losing everything. It could have been us on the streets, fighting the battle of hopelessness and despair. Some of us have been there—facing cold nights, hunger, rejection, and the overwhelming feeling of being unseen and unheard.
Today, we send out our prayers for those still in the thick of it, those who feel forgotten and lost. They don’t just need shelter, food, or warmth—although these are critical—but they need something even greater: true peace, true healing, and an encounter with the Lord that transforms their hearts and lives forever.
Let us never forget where we’ve been, and let that memory fuel our compassion. If we’ve been saved, if we’ve found grace, if we’ve discovered hope—we owe it to others to extend a hand. This is our chance to step up, to love boldly, and to pray fervently for change in their lives.
Lord, we lift them up to You. May Your light pierce their darkness. May Your love remind them that they are not forgotten. May they find the peace that only You can give—the peace that restores, rebuilds, and transforms. Amen.
Let’s be the love they need today. A kind word, a shared meal, a helping hand—it all matters. Together, we can be the bridge that leads them to hope.
